The Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman Phone is heavy on the bass and proud of it. Perhaps too proud. With inbuilt stereo speakers (see pic), it is allegedly able to bring the ‘concert experience’ straight to your mobile phone for you to share with friends(excuse us while we ROFL).

The previously secret Sony Ericsson Idou was unleashed on the world a day before the World Mobile Congress starts. This means that it’s either so amazing that Sony Ericsson wants all your concentration before you get distracted by other phones to be revealed or, it’s so average that it will be swallowed up in all the telecommunication goodness about to be revealed so Sony Ericsson wants to grab some lime-light whilst it can. With scant information, we’re reserving judgment for now.

Samsung have obviously decided that the Omnia brand will be its cash-cow of choice in 2009 and flogged to death. On the plus side, the Samsung OMNIA HD is not bad for a flagship. Able to shoot HD video in 1280×720 at 24fps, the Samsung OMNIA HD handset also allows the user to edit the clip then playback direct to their HD TV.
